I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel and it was absolutely fabulous. The location is perfect, nestled in a lovely town on the beautiful Garden Route in South Africa. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, with all the amenities I could need, including a cozy sitting area and a terrace with garden furniture. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, ensuring that everything was sparkling clean and in perfect order.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Philda and Desmond are lovely host and offer a wonderful style of accommodation with beautiful garden setting in the grounds of an old Georgian manner. One of the best we have stayed in on our travels.

We loved the three sets of bath towels provided, as well as the convenience of having a hair dryer in the room. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the furnishings in the room were sufficient and provided ample space for our belongings. The staff made us feel welcome, offering us coffee in the beautiful garden upon arrival and being readily available to assist with any additional requests. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the room itself was spacious and cozy with lovely details like freshly cut flowers from the garden. everything fell into place and we were grateful for the owners and team at Fairview for creating such a wonderful experience.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay with great facilities, including a shared kitchen, terrace, and lounge. The cleanliness was exceptional with no speck of dust in sight. The breakfast served on the outdoor terrace was amazing, while the staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was easily accessible, and the location was close to everything.
Nothing, all excellent.

A charming place to stay for a peaceful retreat. The room had a cozy ambiance with a comfortable bed and old-style decor, perfect for getting a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it while sitting outside in the lovely garden. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay.
The shower could have been improved as the water pressure was low and the temperature was not consistent. Additionally, the bedroom door was not soundproof and we could hear noises throughout the night, which could be a bit bothersome for light sleepers. a pleasant experience that could have been even better with a few minor improvements.

Wandered around the lovely gardens, like a modern-day Alice in Wonderland. Even found a kitchen garden and orchard. Oh, and the pool had the most refreshing saltwater – just one dip and I felt 10 years younger!
I mean, who needs a spa or gym when you can laze around in a historic homestead with beautiful gardens? Not me!

We spent Christmas holidays in a cozy hotel, the terrace was perfect for breakfast in the sun and the pool offered refreshing moments. the location was great, with hiking trails nearby. We also appreciate the possibility of using a shared kitchen and lounging facilities with other guests.
The lack of air conditioning and the poorly ventilated rooms without curtains made it impossible to sleep comfortably. the WiFi was weak and sometimes non-existent, which was a major inconvenience given the need to stay connected.

Located conveniently close to all amenities, the house is set in a beautiful garden. the spacious room, tastefully decorated, provided a comfortable stay. the breakfast offered a wide selection of food to suit all palates and the service was excellent.
Some guests have complained of rude and impolite behavior from the owner, making for a less than ideal experience.
